leaking auto
took the 93 for a ride smelled somthing burning went home
poped the hood saw smoke in the back of the motor looked
under the car and trans fiuid was driping out WTH any ideas
what part of the trans it could be?

I would check the p/s pump and lines. The fluid on your trans could be blow back. If that is all ok check the pan bolts.

It could be overfilled, there is a vent tube at the top of the trans.
Also check under the car if you can see where it is leaking?
The front seal if that fails will have trans fluid coming out the front, the rear seal failure will cause fluid to spray on underside body and exhaust.
does it leak when cold or only when hot after a long drive or pushing the car hard?

Hi did you check the transmission fluid level? check it when hot.
It could be overfilled, there is a vent tube at the top of the trans.
Also check under the car if you can see where it is leaking?
The front seal if that fails will have trans fluid coming out the front, the rear seal failure will cause fluid to spray on underside body and exhaust.

trans oil is in the cross hatch on the dip stick when hot havent put oil in for a long time and yes is leaks when i push the vette hard hot
