Changed brake booster, now engine surges
Hi all, I just replaced my brake booster on my 95 LT1. When I started the engine to test the brakes, everything was good. Then, after a few minutes, I put it in gear again and hit the gas and it kicked the pedal back at me like the asr kicked in and it won't give me any real throttle response when it's in gear. If it's out of gear it's just fine, and if it's in gear,( she's on jack stands with the wheels off) and I manually use the throttle on the throttle body it works fine as well. Any ideas? Thanks. I'm stumped and hope it's not the new booster!

Thank you. Didn't think of that. After all the time upside down and up and down inside the footwell , I was worn out and my head wasn't working all that well. 
a rather straightforward job, but man o man is it tight getting in and out. Thank you all for your response. Now starts the prothane bushings replacement. Yay.
