Im searching for specific material used by GM to have my seats recovered and ive been told it was used in 80s Corvettes. I believe its called Pallex ? and its like a tan / mustard colour. Very rich and looks great ! Much better than the material used to upholster the Firebird seats of the same era which is what i have.
Heres a screen grab of a seat thats been done in that material.
Your best bet would be to go to an Auto upholstery shop. They have stacks of books with samples. I don't recall that fabric being used on any Corvettes from the factory. Certainly not on a C4.
