Wind deflector s
Painting my 95 coupe....replacing broken wind deflector s on the mirrors... Should they be painted, or left plain, flat color plastic? Were the factory pieces painted?? Thanks!

Semi-gloss black same color as the windshield moldings..They originally came factory on the convertibles but a lot of owners added them to coupes.

If you have a coupe, then they are not original.

Do these really help cut down on some of the wind noise?

I had them on one car. I didn't notice any difference in noise, but it seemed to cut down on turbulence (wind in my face) sometimes.

It's a wind deflector, that way the wind doesn't bounce off the side mirrors and into your face.
