What a difference!

I've had the same old tires on my Vette since I bought it three years ago. They are General 275-40's all around.

I rarely used 1st gear since traction was so bad that with anything over 1/4 throttle I'd spin all through 1st, and it was the same in 2nd at half throttle.

Long story short I ordered a set of Sumitomo's 275 front and 315's rear traction problems are gone. It's like having a new car again! I haven't broke the rears loose yet the Vette just launches like a shot! Of course now I'm thinking engine mods just so I can spin these monster rears :D

Yeah I know how you feel!! I just got all new tires on it about 2 days ago.. Man its a huge difference..

Yep those are ZR1 rims...I pick up the fender flares this afternoon to mount them and complete the look :D I've added altec guards with the GS Flares the look will be complete....welcome to the "dark side" :reddevil
