'89 Coupe Starting Issue
I am having a starting issue that is quite odd. I go to turn the key and all of the lights come on as normal, but when i go to crank it it completely dies and i am not able to even get the interior lights to come back on. When i go to jump it, i attach the cables to my battery only and everything returns to normal without another car on the other end...?
It will then start with the cables attached and dies if i try to start it with out them on. I want to say it is a simple fix but i am not experienced in mechanics. Please help...
P.S. - I also have an issue where my rear interior dome lights never shut off so i have removed the bulbs.

Sounds like you could have a bad or loose connection at the battery. I would take the cables off the terminals and clean them. After that a bad connection on the other end of the cables or bad cable(s).

Be sure to take the bolt out of the end of the cable and clean under the head.
