Hi fans,
I'm new. I own a '86 C4 Convertible for over 2 years now and already have done a lot of work but it keeps building.
I'd like to get to know some of you and please be patient with my english and total lack of technical knowledge.

Welcome to the forum, thats a sweet vert you have there! Even more so with it being in the Nederlands where its quite rare to see a vette. Ive been to your country many times in years gone by, to Soesterberg, when I was in the military. Its a very beautiful country. and your english is just fine. I have a lot of other dutchie friends online too and usually their english is better than most americans :lol: Again, welcome!

We do have some Vettes driving around here. Most of them are in a garage out of the rain.
On an occasional meeting the turn up is around 100 to 200 Vettes. Not to bad?
The Ducth Vette club has now 550 members.
The reactions when I'm on the road are great! Even bikers can appreciate it.
I wish I could be there next year :seeya

I've heard numbers of 1500 pcs in one state or another. Most of them are in the garage due to bad wetter.
On meetings between 100 and 200 cars will turn up and some of them are completely restored and look great.
I've been to Germany recently and most Vetes are completely turned into kitcars, i don't like that because the original car is ;)
On the road I, or i should say we, get a lot of positive responce from other drivers.
When ever there is a meeting we try to go together and sometimes we'll arrive with 8 or 10 Vettes.
I gues the fever is growing around here! A lot of people are getting tired of those 4 cylinder enigines with high pitched sound!
