Nathan, I'm not sure if you can use this stuff on calipers but if you want your exhaust manifolds to look real crisp try this stuff...Performance Choice Manifold Dressing..its in the Mid America catalog...part number 609-651...or call them for a free catalog...1.800.500.8388... :seeya
I've got headers myself and NONE of the headers paints will stay on. I guess the people who make those paints never test them. I don't need it though, they are ceramic coated inside and out.
Those do look real good. Some of those high temp paints are supposed to be baked on, does that stuff bake on or what? It really looks nice. Did you do it while they were on the car?
Directions on the can say to bake it at like 300 dgrees for 45 minutes or something. I used it on my header shields. I baked those for the time it called for. They turned out great. The can said if you are using it on headers they get hot enough to just start the car and let it bake itself. So I just sprayed the calipers on the car. No baking. Thay seem to be fine. Brakes get pretty hot anyway.
The paint comes out very heavy, not like normal spray paint. I got some on the rotor in places you cant mask. I let it dry then spun the rotor around and removed the overspray with some paint remover.
