I don't see how the PCV valve could affect a rubbing problem.
What happens if you plug the vacuum hose going to the PCV valve?
If I plug the left hand side which is fresh air car will not run. I never tried to plug the driver side but if you crack it like I did in the video it makes the noise go away.

You didn't answer my question, which is: what happens if you plug the vacuum line going to the PCV valve.
Does it still make the noise if you remove the serpentine belt?

i think it is your dizzy. i have the exact same noise on my 87.
take either a mechanics steth, or a long flathead, and place it on the screws that hold the dizzy cap on. place it on the metal part of the dizzy that rests on top of the intake. place it all over the dizzy. you will likely find a crazy screech through the listening tool.
i suspect its the busing either down where it connects to the oil pump or up at the top.
mine comes and goes and during high vacuum (idle) it makes the noise. i havnt figured out why. likely something to do with extra resistance or something with high vacuum. im sort of talking out my butt there but id bet its the dizzy like mine. the noise is precisely the same, though yours is a tiny bit louder.
i youtubed it and there is a guy who had similar issue, same noise, on a ford, he pulled the cap and rotor and put oil down the shaft bearing and it went away.
hope that helps and if i ever get out from under my 85 project car i can fix my 87 and could verify the fix for you.
i think my intake manifold has developed a vaccum leak when it warms up. If I pull the pcv valve and plug it with my finger the noise is gone away because I am removing vaccum from the crank case. I'll report back if that is the case. I most likely screwed up the install of the intake manifold it's self.

I can say the noise is officially gone!!!!!!! I installed the intake manifold gasket incorrectly the first time after re doing it she's now perfectly quiet. This was a tough one! Phew.
