Did you make the climb up to Clingmans Dome at the state line? Been to the Smokies many times when I went to my Dad's house in Clinton, just north of Knoxville. Most of the times you couldn't see very far because of the mountain haze (smokies) but a couple of years ago it was clear as a bell and you could see for STATES away! Spectacular scenery up there!

My wife and I drove up from SC on Wed, touristed on Thursday and attended Corvette Expo on Friday. Thoroughly enjoyed it and talked to a lot of folks before heading back through the Great Smoky National Park. Ended up driving about 400 miles altogether along lots of country roads. Might need to do Tail of the Dragon next time since I missed it last year.

Nice pictures of some beautiful country side. You really get the opportunity to enjoy driving a Corvette on roads like that. Thanks posting.

Glad you cruised down and had a great time. I don't remember seeing your car at the Expo on Saturday. Not too many two-tone C4's in this neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I didn't know anything about the expo- until my family and I got here Friday on vacation. Here I am in the most beautiful country for a 'vette, WITHOUT my vette, and you guys are all making me miss it more than ever! It was nice seeing all the cool Corvettes cruising though.
