Anyone have pics of these on a 1986? What is a good brand Remin, B&I, Sherwood, Rvinyl? Im having a hard time picturing it on the center bezel part of the dash.
Let's see if I understand. Every twelve hours someone asks how to fix their stinking limp headlamp. They get a dozen responses within minutes, even with two posts live in a row.
This guy asks a question I haven't seen in 6+ months on this forum and he's shown the door? You DO know how badly this site's search engine sucks, right?

Seems harsh. Just sayin'.
I find better information using Google which directs me to the Corvette Forum most times. Using the CF Search function gives to many results that include other generations that are of no use. The Advance Search is a little intimidating .
Yes, I prefer to answer someone's question directly.
I did the google search and here as well. The only pic's I saw were from companies selling them. I wanted to see a real application.
I don't have any pictures of the dash kits you are asking about. However, if it were my car Instead of getting a dash kit I would probably have my dash pieces hydro dipped with the pattern/finish I wanted. Gives a more OEM finish and is not that expensive. Lots of good places offer this service.
I had a local shop hydro dip some dash pieces in my CTS-V and was very happy.

That hydro dipping looks cool. I'll have to see if they do it around here.

If you can't find a local shop I think there are a few places online that you can send your interior pieces to for hydro dipping. I got lucky and found a great local shop that offered the service.
Best of luck on your dash project, I'm sure it will turn out great.
Once its finished feel free to post some pictures I would be interested to how it looks.
Found a place in Va Beach that does it. Going to swing by and check it out.
Great. When I had the pieces for my cts-v done, I brought the car to the shop and looked at the samples in the car which made it easier to find one that I thought looked good.
i Have the carbon fiber dash kit it looks good just take your time installing... if i get a chance too i'll swing by my storage and grab a few pictures

I did the hydro dip on my dash/center console and drivers door switch assy. Did it my self with the dip kit system. Turned out pretty good. Just my 2 cents..
