Default 1989 Convertible a/c problem

Hey everybody, new to the forum, my heat & air work fine but the digital temp & fan speed display for the a/c isn't illuminated anymore & the setting indicator as well! Any ideas what to check ? Thanks!!

Does the radio light up? It's on the same circuit as the HVAC lighting. You might have a burned out bulb.

Thanks for responding! Yes my radio light is on! I will also add that prior to the display light failure I had noticed it going off & coming back on sometimes! My guess is a short in the wiring ?

More likely a bad connection in/at the bulb socket.
