Any idea what the hole is for ? Or is something missung ? Lol

I don't know why there is a hole behind the license plate on our cars but my 88 has the same hole. I suspect it has something to do with the way the nose was originally manufactured.

Could it be a hole for a tow hook ?
Now I will have to check the wifes 89 to see if it has one.

my guess - some sort of tooling hole used in the assembly or manufacturing process.

I don't think you would want to tow the car by the front fiberglass bumper...

I have never had to take mine apart. I thought there could be some steel structure behind the valance.
