Default Finally picked up my C4

Last monday I had a day off work, because of mandatory rest, so I went to pick up my 86 Indy Pace Car convertible that I bought in september.
Had a nice drive with the top down, a bit chilly in the neck but not bad.
Has 62000 miles on the odometer, and runs very good.
It surpised me when I pressed the pedal all the way down, and went sideways. Luckily not on public road, but a outside a warehouse I load sometimes.

It has these RPO codes:

Planning to maybe get som new wheels, exhaust and probably upgrade the stereo since they close down the FM broadcasting next year, so I need a DAB radio.

Today I went criusing with the local branch of Corvette Club Norway, When I started from my house it was starting to rain, but luckily it stopped on the way to where we were supposed to meet and just got better until the sun came. We were around 11-13 cars at the most, and I drove around 130km total today.
We were two C4, four C5 , one C6 and the rest was C3.

Congrats on your new-to-u ride. I had my 87 over in England for a few years. I was totally surprised when I joined the Corvette Club UK and found that there were over 700 members all over the British isles. In fact, American cars are quite popular over there even with the high gas prices. They don't do unleaded so it ate my CAT but still ran perfect.

They shut down all nationwide audiobroadcast via FM, and replace it with DAB(Digital Audio Broadcast) which means that every radio needs to be replace by one with DAB recievers.

Nice car, there are over 1000 member of Corvette Club Norway, which is many in a country with 5millon residents.
No unleaded? That must be a while ago? I run mine on unleaded and unleaded fuel has been available here since the end of the eighties.

Congrats on the 86. Have one myself and it's a great car. It's taking a little maintenance to get it to the way I want but loving the ride while getting there

Sideways, eh?? ..life can be like that in a Corvette! Didn't you notice the Grim Reaper sitting beside you saying.. "..go for it, just a little more, you can handle it!"

I'm in the West of Scotland, UK near Donald Trump's Turnberry Championship Golf Course. Great roads for a Corvette.

Spent a few days early June at Corvette Club Norway's summermeet.
Usually from Thursday to sunday
It's in different places each year and this year it was in Røros.

Drove up there with eight other Corvette

There was around 130 cars from all over Norway. Around 18 were C4's
I even found one almost exactly like min.

Was "nice" weather the evening we arrived

Some other C4 from the meet

ZR-1 convertible

On saturday we filled a street downtown with Corvettes

This wednesday we went cruising.
Started in Sem and drove via a detour to Torp airport where Dakota Norway has a DC-3 they fly with each wednesday during the summer
Sadly not the best weather, got some raindrops on the way and a shower while we were in the air.

I also got to do some work with the car.
Filled the AC earlier in the week, so now it works for the time beeing.
The chiing module is a little faulty, it chimes all the time.
So need to atlest disconnect it, and maybe get a new one.
Need also some new tires in the back.
3rd brakelight bulbs needs to be changed with one foglight and som lights in the instrument panel.
Ordered the lightbulbs I need and also some LED bulbs for the rearlights in the hope of not have to change them more than one time.
Ordered the lightbulbs this week so will have them soon I hope.

Sliding sideways? Better check to see how old your tires are.
Nice Ride.

Nice Ride.
Was when I had full throttle and it was changing to second.
Besides the rear tires is already planned to be changed.

Were at 4th of july cruising in Lillestrøm.
This was the 27th time of this.
Norway's biggest cruising, they close some streets downtown of Lillestrøm where we can drive.
Around 3500-4000 cars each year.

Sadly I only had time for one round of cruising and did not get oics from that.

Ended up in a gasstation where a lot of other cars gathered

We've had unleaded in the UK for years.
