Damn you got it running go drive and enjoy. Some do it but legally only emergency vehicles can have flashing red lights.
Don't the newer vettes have the blinking brake lights though? I just want it to fast flash the center brake light when I apply the brakes? Only if its legal of course.
Below 50 degrees here, it just isn't as fun in the cold weather. Still gonna take it out in a bit, see how everyone is doing at the lockout line at work. I go in tomorrow and be driving it then too. I guess the FAA is going there Monday for an inspection. It's looking good for us UAW workers since we heard the inside is in shambles with the temps they have working in there now.

I put one of those 3rd brake light flashers on my C5. I bought it from RadioFlyer Innovations who is a CF Supporting Vendor.
The one that I bought was an extra cost "plug-and-play" version for the C5, but there is another version with bare wires that you have to splice in. It's not very big (2" x 1") but it probably will have to be mounted in the interior where the wires leading to the 3rd brake light are routed. It appears that it will work with all lamp types. If you want to convert the C4 3rd brake light, it's been mentioned here that one of the 9-LED strips from Harbor Freight will mount in the 3rd brake light housing.
This is a very popular mod on motorcycles, maybe Google it that way. I doubt that and officer would have a problem with it as long as it was only the CHSML that flashed.
I believe there are European systems that change the intensity and also the flash rate of stop lights dependent upon pedal pressure applied like in a "panic stop" situation.
These shouldn't be illegal considering they only flash like 3-4 times then go to steady. Do different than pumping your pedal. A lot of the newer cars are coming with this standard I believe. I like the 9 LED strip from Harbor Freight idea. Any further info on this?
I have it on my 94' along with an LED third brake light. IMO you need to make your third brake light an LED before you install the pulser. The third brake light pulsing with a halogen bulb just looks kind of... and doesn't get the full effect.
One day while driving across the state to Daytona I was slowing down coming up to some rail road tracks where a train was passing and a car nearly rear ended me not paying attention. After that I figured I needed to do something. I'd say the 3rd brake light pulsator works very well. People do not follow me as closely in tight traffic as much as they used to, and if they do I just tap the brakes and they back off a little. I have it set to blink really fast 3 times. If you apply the brake more than once within a 30 second window it will act like a normal third brake light and only blink once (this way it isn't annoying). After 30 seconds if you hit the brake again it will pulse really quick 3 times. I believe I bought it from WebElectric Products.
It is supposed to be a little annoying, but it does make other drivers aware, and I always pay more attention to cars with them in traffic (which is the point). A brief flash will almost always grab your attention.
