I've had the car for about 15 months and I love it, but in the last couple of weeks something has changed when starting the engine. Previously I could keep my foot on the brake, turn the key and it would start pretty much right away. Recently it will take up to 20 seconds to start unless I give it a little gas. I just replaced the fuel injectors for other reasons and I've been working my way through the rubber hosing (especially those for vacuum) to replace the 20 year old cracked and disintegrating hoses.
I am assuming that it is fuel related since giving it gas fixes the problem every time. I plan to replace the fuel filter next weekend if I can figure out the best way to empty the tank. I know that the hose that goes from the throttle body to the crankcase has issues (the crankcase end doesn't sit straight and it's difficult to actually get that end in the hole.
