The are supposed to be flat as they bolt to the floor. After a few speed bumps they tend to get pushed in. Take it out, put a block of wood under each attachment point and jump up and down on the middle a few times. It should straighten right out.
When I had my 95 vert, it was a royal pain to change the trans fluid. I had to drop the X brace to do it. When you put it in you have to be careful because it's near the exhaust and it will make noise if it's touching.
Good luck with it.
I figured it should be flat. The few pictures I found of it they all appeared to be bowed, so I had to ask. A friend volunteered to straighten and box it for me. thanks for replies
