I noticed upon buying my c4 that the reflection of the dashboard on the windscreen was a bit of a distraction.
If anyone else has this problem, the easiest solution is simply a pair of polarized sunglasses.
Below are pics taken with my phone. First of the windshield with reflection. Then through the sunglasses lens. Obviously these are not high-quality photos but they definitely show how well polarized sunglasses eliminate the glare.
Just a friendly tip for those who were bothered by this issue...
If you want to intermittently scare the schitt out of yourself then go slather some rain-x on it. Light will hit it from time to time at the exact right angle and it will be totally opaque. Opaque as in you will have to stick your head out the window cause visibility will be zero out the windshield.

Yep, it's a downside of polarized lenses. They make my speedometer too dark to read, so I don't use 'em.

Huh? I use RainX on all my cars, and have never encountered that problem. If it's properly buffed off, you should not see any noticeable difference.
It's more about what you put on the dash pad. A lot of products that makes everything so shiny cause light to reflect onto glass. I normally just wipe off dash with clean soft cloth. Maybe some glass cleaner if something gets on dash.
As stated just a damp cloth will do but if it gets too dull I found that Pledge furniture polish will put just a dull flat sheen on the dash unlike Armorall which will blind you.
