engine compatment cleaning
with the motor out of my 93 i fugured it was a good time to give the engine compartment a thorough cleaning, but don't want to mees anything up, anyone done this???????

get some simple green and a toothbrush, small spray bottle to wet things

Engine OUT of the car???? Nope! But i'll bet the same rules apply! Keep the opti dry. A lit'l Simple Green and a LOT of rags, brushes and elbow grease! ;)
So far as the engine COMPARTMENT goes...i'd think that dang near ANYTHING goes! (i'd still shy away from the pressure washing though...)

Simple Green on the engine and whatever on the compartment.
Just replaced Opti, if you have over 50k on the Opti it may be a good time to change it - :smash:

well considering the only thing i am re using is the block, and intake, shouldn't be a problem, thanx for the advice, i'll try some simple green
