Starter Issue's
Once and a while I start my Vette and I get that grind from the starter that you would get if you tried to start a running car. It happened to me this morning when I went to start it for the first time. It also happened to me a couple weeks ago after getting gas. That time I tired to start it twice and it made that grinding noise. Any idea what it could be?

The grease sometimes gets dirt and grit in it that makes the gear stick in the flywheel without retracting fast enough...Like mentioned above, pull it and get it fixed before you end up having to pull the trans to replace the flywheel...WW.

Thanks guys and will do. It this an easy job? I use to be able to pull the starter on my 89 5.0l mustang in about 10-15 minutes.

Its more difficult than your Ford. Replacing the flywheel is exponentially more difficult than either starter.
