Default Wheel Balancing Weights

I'm having my wheels balanced this week and was wondering if I should put weights on both sides or only on the inside. Shouldn't thay be able to balance them using the weights on the inside only instead of putting those ugly weights on the outside and screwing up the finish? By the way the shop I am going to has a Hunter 9700 Road Force balancer. Any opinions

You can put weights on the inside only. A decent tire shop should have no problem doing this.

Yep mine are all inside, they use weights that stick w/ some sort of adhesive backing.

You will develop a shimmy in your wheel if you don't have it balanced from the outside and inside. :smash:

EDIT: The shimmy will be at speeds of 75-80+ MPH
