Hey guys, it's been a long time since I posted on here. I was wondering what my 1986 would go for since I just purchased a new C7 Z06 this week. It's my dad's old car and I don't have the space.. I want to be selling it soon too which is breaking my heart..
- Red on red base coupe
- 60,000 original miles
- automatic
- original owner
- Zr1 replica wheels with brand new tires and have the original wheels with tires on it as well.
- rebuilt instrument cluster
- seats have been refinished
- brand new ac delco brakes and rotors all four wheels
- fluids have been changed and serviced and tune up
- new battery
- exhaust cat-back
I just have to repair the horn and the ac / heater blower motor.. Original radio and speakers which has seen its better days..
Better to check one of the car sales websites or some place like ebay. There's too many variables including location that can have a bearing on what a vehicle may or may not go for.
A car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Sorry, best info available.
buy a $2k 4 post lift and keep it for other family members to drive. Did you know you can park two Corvettes in a garage with 8ft ceilings. You'll more than likely take a wash on it. Unless its a conv. Nice cpes are going for $5k if your lucky.

The only coupes I see going for $5k really aren't that "nice". Usually they're high mileage cars needing $5k in repairs. People who normally would buy a $5k C4 don't have any clue of what they're really buying. First time buyers basically. They'll show up here or in other forums sooner or later with tons of questions and mechanical problems complaining about how much they now have to fix or spend to make it "nice".
