hood stuck
Hello Everybody,
My 1989 hood is stuck. I have the tool to open the cable from the outside. But I cannot find the video that tells you how to use the tool. If someoen knows the link location can the please send it too me.

Once you get it open, now is the time to add a set of safety release cables to help reduce your headaches in the future.

They're sold by a bunch of places, here's one example: check Ecklers for Part #: 25-212748-1 Corvette Emergency Hood Release Cable, 1984-1996
Being they aren't that expensive, and include the plug to fit in the cutouts in the mounts though others have made their own.

I am thinging home made is the way to go. When I made the hood tool. It was $28.00 at Ecklers. Mine cost $6.00.

Did your cable break? Was there any weird noise when you first tried to open it?
