Well, when Vette gets outta tranny shop (Wed hopefullly), I will have to start looking for my next project... Running outta big things to do, so here is a short list of my little things.... realign passenger window to seal properly, polish plenum, replace TB w/52MM, replace Y-pipe w pre-cats, put in KYB front shocks, install chrome sill guards, R&R Digital dash (to solder whatever is causing it to blink on and off at times), have sunvisors reupolstered (part of the interior work they forgot to do), and finish cleaning the engine compartment. Then, I swear, I am DONE..... maybe :p:
YOu didn't port and polish your MAF yet, did you? That's some fun stuff, very time consuming when your Dremel break and you have to use a drill press with a Dremel bit attached to finish the polishing :bb. A worthwhile mod, especially if you like spending time working on the 'vette, and it's pretty easy. :yesnod:
When you do your dash you will see some pins that hook the front circuits to the back ones..........they are usually not making good connection. I used a BIG soldering iron and just held it on them one at a time and could see the solder get shiny............. I learned from BATTEE Ithink that's his screen name. I also removed my sunvisors altogether a few years back because I like the way it looks without them when the top is off
