C4 electrical short :(
Hey guys, after changing the radiator on my 1986 vette, I went to reconnect the battery and I noticed an electrical smell and saw a glowing red light in front of the firewall. No idea what happened. It's considerably low from the top of the engine, beneath the distributor. I went to check underneath the car and the exhaust and transmission is in the way so I can't locate the problem.
I'm guessing I'll have to start taking things apart to try to get to it... idk if I can remove the distributor and get to it or not. Has anyone done electrical work between the firewall and engine? I need help :/
