c4 engine problem
My 84 was running perfectly but upon shutting down to go into store, 10 minutes later it starts but will not run. sounds like half of engine runs and feathering accelerator it surges and then stops. Fuel is expended in both TBI's when accelerator is depressed. do you know any cause?

Could be a vacuum issue. On my '84 I remember one time I took the air cleaner off and forgot to attach the hose in the back that connects to the rear throttle body area... It ran similarly as you describe. Once everything was correctly connected, the car ran fine.
