I've got one of those window mount U.S. flags. Has anyone put one of these on a C4? Will it stay on the car without a door frame? I'd like to display it tomorrow. :flag
If it is the one that I am thinking of, I had one last year and it kept falling off when I opened the door. I just locked my antenna in the up position and zip tied a small flag to it.
At Carlisle this year I bought a set of flags that screw right on to the front targa bolts. Good gaurrantee on them too. Running them today with the lights up... :flag :flag :flag
I rescued a flag that was in the street and people were driving over it. I have it on my antenna and the antenna is locked in the UP position. It will withstand 100 mph too............ :flag
Here a better idea. Create your own flag mount made out of a heavy duty wire coat hanger. My flag will stay on at over 150mph..
Use black electrical tape to help hold the flag on. When the flag wears out you can easily replace it. It cheaper also since you can buy the flags on the cheaper wooden sticks. Hmmm... if I have time I'll create a drawing of it and post it.
I went out to Wal Mart last night to get a flag, nothing good so I ended up getting the stickers. $.50 and about 3" x 2", put it on driver's side of the hatch, around the bottom. :flag
