muffler length
I removed the old chrome muffler tips (not attractive) on my new to me 87. I'm assuming the PO put these on and now the muffler ends don't quite clear the bumper by a couple inches. Is this normal and safe regarding the exhaust fumes? Thanks

I appreciate the response, it must be a non-issue. I was concerned about emissions finding their way into the cabin but many cars pipes don't always extend past the bumper. Does your vette have extension tips?

Sorry that I don't have more pictures and can't take any more, but I sold the car in 2008 and don't have anything else with a stock exhaust.

That's stock length and should be fine. I personally do not like when the tips stick out past the bumper.
