I need new carpet?
Who have you guys found has the best deal and ease of installation on carpet for an '89? I need red. My carpet has never cost me any points or anything that I am aware of but it has some very worn looking places. It's time to replace it. Do we have a supporting vendor?

Yes we do, click the link on the right for C4 restoration.

All vehicle carpet should be form-fitted when you get it, all that's required is removing seats and anything else secured to the 'vette holding down the carpet, pull it out and put the new one it. It should fit perfectly. :cheers:

The Last Detail has great prices and excellent service. I just replaced the carpet in two vettes with no problems. The fit was excellent.

We just won a $25 gift certificate from Trim Parts, Inc. at the "September in Seattle" event put together by the Corvette Marque of Seattle. Looking through their catalog, it looks like the only thing they stock for C-4's is carpet.
Has anyone here seen their carpet and/or priced it? I need new carpet but would like to get something a little higher quality than the stuff that looks like pressed felt.

Get the Tru-Vette massed back stuff from TLD. It's fit for your car...so very little if any trimming, and they re-sell ACC like everyone else on the planet (but at better prices).
Don't bother messing with other stuff...ACC is the only stuff I've seen that fits properly and you won't spend 5 days trimming and fitting (that really is a pain in the butt...did it once and will never do it again).
Good luck...it's easy to change carpet out...
