Thought I had this problem solved. Pulled a 36 code, put in a new burnoff switch. Problem went away for a short time. Also put a new MAF sensor in. Original MAF Bosch, new AC Delco. Original burnoff switch TRW. New not sure I had it installed. This is intermittent, usually takes a couple days to come back after reset.???

Not to hi-jack your thread but I am in for some help as well.
89 Corvette 27K miles, Code 36 - I unhooked the battery and cleaned the MAF connector, drove car for about 3 days without a CEL - now its back. New relays, New MAF.
There are some good threads on here in regards to code 36 - but it seems everyone's car was a different fix- from ECU to MAF to Relays to bad connections.
From what I read these aftermarket MAF are not within specs or junk? I am going to put two new relays in again as the previous owner said they were replaced prior to my purchase, which they look new just ruling out the easy stuff.

The car looks like a museum piece, 27K original miles. But as I understand new fuel injectors were put in, so I will trace the wiring and re-clean the contacts on everything in case someone may have pinched a wire during injector install.
