Default salad shooters

Hi everyone. I have a question about the 1990 corvette salad shooter wheels. Are they a 2 piece wheel? because they look like it, when i was cleaning my wheels i noticed a small gap between the face of the wheel and the lip and got to thinking. if these are 2 piece wheels i can restore these wheels with a polished lip an be on my way.

Polish the lip and "drive on" - they are two piece. Remove and eyeball rear for a visual on the welds.

Damn, that's a great name for a wheel, haha! I wonder who thinks up these monikers?

I always heard them called "sawblades."

Never heard of a moniker applied to the one year only 1990 design. Salad shooters came after and saw blades before.

As for the names. I thought:

'84-'87 were called turbines
'88-'90 were called Cuisinart or salad shooters
'91-'96 were called sawblades.

My car came with 2 piece wheels? That's awesome! Yeah, im going to have them restored and have the lips polished. No need in getting rid of a nice looking wheel.

And my 86 "Franken-vette" with salad shooters. The PO got really creative with rear end of this car.
