"Block It"

I received and installed my "Block It" order today. Took the car out for a ride when I was done and found it was much quieter. In my opinion, this stuff is fantastic. I do have to say that covering it with the mat completes the look.

BTW, the wrinkles or curling (from being rolled when we ship it) go away over time. I guess it doesn't mean much to you since you cover them BUT the pieces behind the seat will also get flat and you should expect even better results because the piece are flush against the carpet.

BTW, the wrinkles or curling (from being rolled when we ship it) go away over time. I guess it doesn't mean much to you since you cover them BUT the pieces behind the seat will also get flat and you should expect even better results because the piece are flush against the carpet.

My “Block It” arrived, nicely packaged, weighed in at 9.5 lbs. Feels like a quality product. The rear cargo piece fits perfectly, the other two sections tuck out of site behind the seats.
On call for work tonight, so I can’t take my Corvette out for an evaluation. Will hopefully be able to take it out tomorrow and report back.

Ok, just got back from mixed drive of highway, rural, and suburban roads, I hit them all. I am happy to say that Block It is incredible.
My ‘96 is a tight car with no squeaks or rattles, but it is not immune to the drone of the tires, especially in the rear. Block It brought a calmness to my C4’s cabin that it has never had before. I have had my ‘96 for 18 years now and I know every sound the car makes, it is bone stock all but for battery, tires, and consumables. I never knew the Bose system sounded so good, I would never consider getting rid of it now! The speakers in the rear hatch area are much clearer now, I attribute this to the overall sound dampening of the Block It and how it softens rear tire noise.
This is a great alternative for the Corvette owner who is considering removing their carpeting in the rear hatch area to lay Dynamat. Block It is able to removed in a matter of seconds should you wish to remove it, and it is light weight.
I am very happy with the product and would give it a 5 star rating out of five stars. It was money well spent.
