What did the original valve stem caps on a 1996 LT4 convertible look like? Metal, black plastic, chrome sleeve on valve stem, etc?

OEM caps would have been black plastic/rubber. The valve stems would be black rubber and probably 1-1/2" long or so.

Most any tire shop would have replaced the valve stems when new tires were purchased. So it's possible that replacement valve stems could have been OEM style, or rubber with chrome covers, or bolt-on metal stems. Some shops would have used chrome or stainless stem caps.
