No, not yet, but it sure gets a lot of attention at the shows. I live in the country, and there are not a lot of Vette shows around, but I take her to car shows/cruise-ins and my 92 vert seems to be a crowd favorite. So....I am confident that C4s will be a popular classic someday. In the meantime. she sure is fun!
I've always thought the C4 is the best looking Corvette they have made. I know there are a lot of people who disagree with that, but to each his own. I thought the car was a classic when it came out in 84. After some years they finally put some real power in them & marked the C4s spot in history. I think when the C4s are as old as the mid-years are now you'll see the suvivors bringing that kind of money as well. But hey, who knows. Only time will tell. In the meantime it is still the American Legend. :chevy

Re: C4..... Classic? (Drewdog)
I think the sharks are the 'meanest', but i definitely think trhe C4 is the coolest
The early Sharks that had some huevos (before the tree huggers/smog ***** trashed them) totally rocked as muscle cars. The C4's are THE King of the Hill for Cool and handling though. A coupe with the roof panel off at about 150 mph is THE sexiest piece of road machinery on the planet bar none. Of course thats just this vette addicts opinion....

Re: C4..... Classic? (DarkHalo)
The C4 is within the envelope of traditional "classic cars"
Approximately 50% of the overall body length is forward of the windshield post
This is true of sharks as well
But C5's are designed according to the chrysler "cab over" theory with the windshield post forward enough to intersect the front axle (If you continued the line)
If the traditional application of classic holds up, the C4 will be the last of the "classic" corvettes IMHO :blueangel:
someday soon they will be...time does fly by......and I thought that my 69 was a classic.....perhaps it is already an antique like the 59 next to it in the garage
I finished college in 1985, one year after the C-4 birth. It has been what I have wanted from that day. People love these cars. The look of the C-4 is timeless, It is a classic just like the Jag XKE, The Merz Gull Wing......Time will tell. I own one, and I can't wait to get another.
