If I had to guess 90 to 95 % of the exhaust comes thru one side.

One side is a straight through and handles almost all the flow.
The other side has very little opening inside the muffler for gas to get to the tip. Most of the muffler is a tuning chamber. It only serves to get rid of the drone and tune the exhaust pulses and sound.
There were some cut away pictures on the forum that showed a C4 Corsa muffler cut open, but I can't find them any more. It looks like they were removed from the hosting site that the member posted the pictures from.
