But it should be no problem to drop by your local Chevy dealer and ask the Service Manager if you can get a report. Make sure to bring the VIN number and hint that you may be using the service department.
It can't hurt to have a reputable independent repair shop to do a UVI (Used Vehicle Inspection) on the car. For around $100 to $150, you will get a written report of the condition of the vehicle and any repair recommendations.
