Default Got some C4 love at the Atlanta car show

I received a sponsor trophy yesterday at the big Atlanta 'Corvettes for a Cause' show. I believe there were only about 6 C4 entries out of the 120+ cars at the show. I would guess about 75% of the cars were C5 and newer. Here are a few photos including my trophy next to my car. Lord knows how many hours I spent under the hood detailing to make it look show worthy.

I especially like seeing '96 CE's in good shape, but I am partial because of mine.

I used to own a '50 Ford Kustom and a '52 Ford mild Kustom - and at Kustom car shows we did not show with the hoods or trunks open because it spoiled the looks of the car - I have to say the same goes for Corvettes. Just saying - - -

With some cars I certainly agree that opening the hood destroys the lines completely. I've also had some older cars like yours. Looked horrible with the hoods open and spoiled the lines, BUT if you want to be judged at some of these shows, like this Corvette show in Atlanta, the hoods MUST be open (trunks, hatches too). I don't mind the Corvettes being open personally as the engines are special to see. Some of the efforts owners put forth in these cars is amazing.

Oh I know about the judging and trophies - got burned out on both years ago - require too much dusting - LOL. I go to shows to talk to friends now and usually leave before they hand out the trophies.

I used to own a 96 CE Convertible with torch red interior. I came in first place in my class in Autorama in Houston here's a cool pic. Congrats on your achievements.
