carburated C4? How difficult to achieve?
I'm curious about carburated C4 conversions. What does it take to keep digital dash/stock gauges working? How tall of an intake/air cleaner is there room for with a small block? How about clearance for a big block? big block headers? If you have one, can you post pics? TIA!

No room for a carb under the hood, you'll have to cut a hole in the hood. Why are you wanting to go with a carb? I think that with fuel injection and a computer chip you'll get a better running engine than messing with a carb all the time. I think that it'd be extremely difficult to convert it to a carb. Perhaps you can convert to a throttle body that's vertical to the engine instead of horizontal like now. That might work around the same as a carb.

ask Yoslambo...he has a carb on his 84 and appears to have a stock hood. The throttle bodies on my CFI have about the same dimensions as a carb, so I don't see clearance being an issue.
