I have a 93 corvette. When you start it all seems ok. When you go about 100 yards it dies, not every time, usually after it sets overnite. It will start after spinning over 8 or 9 times. after that it runs ok. Also when you are running down the road with cruise on you can feel it miss every now and then. It has a new GM optispark and fuel pump. Fuel pressure checks ok. I have had it to 3 reputable mechanics. They have put it on engine analyzer and no problems show up. the car has 105000 mi. All sensors check out. Some have been replaced.
I agree with Kael, mine would stall after about 10-15 minutes of running, sitting or driving. Replaced spark plugs and wires (One wire was very cracked) and the car will now run until it runs out of gas.
sounds like a fuel problem..filter or pick up sock? Then again, if it as that bad would happen much of the time. Yea, check the wires and cap ,, those have caps?
But it's stalling and won't immediately re-start, right? So something isn't working right, new or not. When it won't start, why won't it? What is missing; spark or fuel?
Ya asked for advice....I'm telling you an super easy, 20 second thing to check. So check...OR argue and speculate over the internet about it until it doesn't get fixed.

I AGREE TOTALLY!
Statistics verify that failure rate is higher for a device upon first being put into service than at any other period in its lifespan! They call this phenomenon "infant mortality".
Replacing a device is NOT proof that it functions properly. Take NOTHING FOR GRANTED: Ya have to verify it - preferably under operating conditions.
