Default Is this normal?

Excuse my ignorance of the C4 for now but I'm having the issues with the defroster vents blowing and not the left/right AC vents in my 1984.

Checking for vacuum leaks under the hood I see this hose that looks like spaghetti and out of a fish tank. So I ask, is this actually a stock hose?

That is wrong. It must be vacuum line like the rest of the lines going to it. Vacuum line will not collapse like that tubing you are holding. Someone didn't know what they were doing.

I haven't been the first man to use aquarium tubing to fix lines going to the washer fluid pump but I wouldn't use this s#!t for vacuum purposes. Jeez man, I guess I can say "found one!"
