I saw a ARTICLE ON JALOPNIK where those Jalops got ALL fired up about a f'n '89 Toyota Supra that went something like 189 mph, and how amazing that car was, and how all of the sudden 1/2 those Jalop-tards are lusting over that gen Supra...blah, blah, blah. Good lord.
I posted in the comments section that a 'Vette went over 50mph faster, a year earlier, so what's the BFD?

I thought it was interesting how much the front bumper of this car in 1988 looks so much like the bumper on the 91 to 96 cars. The inspiration perhaps?
Back in the late 80's if you ordered a Callaway it came with an owners packet that included a VHS tape of this. One of our club members brought it to a monthly meeting and most of the club stayed after the meeting to watch it. We all made copies after that.
A while later, against my better judgement, I loaned my copy to a guy that said he was looking to buy a new Corvette. That was the last I saw of it.
About 10 years ago while visiting the Callaway tent at Carlisle I noticed they were selling the DVD (of the video). I had to get it! It really is an amazing documentary and you can't help being impressed by that car and his entire team that built it.
