Congratulations!
My wife and I honeymooned on Bald Head Island! :lol:
We stayed at Theodosia's right there by the Marina....we even got our own golf kart to tool around in while we were there..
We are going back next May for our 5 year anniversary.
I got very lucky....my wife LOVES Corvettes and when I wanted to buy my '91 I had planned this big romantic date and was planning on popping the "Honey can I buy a corvette" question (honestly I was more nervous than when I asked her to marry me!)
I subtly brought up the '91...it belonged to my mechanic....I said "Honey you know that Robert is selling his Vette" and she replied "really...lets buy it!"
Needless to say I was shocked :lol:

Guys and gals,
I can't tell you thanks enough, its great to get such support and praise on this event, we are both extremely happy and look forward to a great corvette filled life together. i knew she was the one when i asked her to hit the track with me and she said yes, may as well had been a proposal..lol.. but then she astounded me further by obliging an offer to take the 95 down the track... then i sat the rest of the night in the bleechers as she didn't seem to be willing to turn the vette back over to me.. so we settled on a solution, she would need her own Vette, and since she had fallen in love with the 95 thats the one she got and we were then able to adopt my new 96 Collectors Edition LT4 which is what she with some luck by mid october both cars will be ready to go play at the trackdrives now until the 95 is back on the road and the new block is back in the car.. once its running again, the CE is going in for some goodies and once its done it track time and back to the fun race days... we are officially a Corvette family, and now the Inlaws to be are scouting for a vette and my Brother in law has just started hunting for a C5 convertible...my father and mother both have Vettes.. wow.. lol.. when i stop and think about it.. we are fanatics... :smash: :smash: :smash: lol.. well thanks again to all!!
ps Bald Head really is a great place, if your ever down this way, please gimme a call and if ya have time.. go tour baldhead.. its the tropics in North Carolina! very beautiful!! thanks again!!
