Default With the holidays aproaching....

....are there any vendors who do "holiday sales"?

I've decided on a corsa system for my 96 CE and plan on having it installed over the winter. That being said, I'm in no rush to buy it.....but if I did, I'm sure there would be a sale the following week

I guess everyone here pays full price for their mods around the holidays

The best deals on performance parts are had when you buy them second hand with little use simply because someone changed their mind. That being said, the Corsa system rarely comes up used. Don't know what else to say. I'm sure that the bigger vendors out there will start having holiday promotions around thanksgiving.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I agree finding a corsa used or on sale is rare. I was hoping that someone with more experience would say "after T_giving the after market stuff goes on sale" or "XYZ usually has a Dec. blowout"

There are other mods/parts I would be interested, but the corsa will be the main mod (plus gears)

So far I've found a 5% discount, no tax, free ship and $75 rebate. That gets me down to about $1200.....has anyone paid less for a C4 LT1 corsa?

Also corsa has a catback with rectangular tips(black), but they are $200+ more, could anyone tell me why they are more money other than the tips?

TIA

I'd check prices on Black Friday. I don't know about car parts, but many online vendors offer codes that weekend.

Over in the C5 Gen section, Colorado Speed is advertising a sale, Corsa included.

Not sure if you'll get many responses. I always hawk the for sale section and the general sections during the black friday/cyber monday times. I've found some companies place ad style posts there like wilcox and sometimes a member will point out sales.

I know last year there were specials on magnaflows on an exhaust site. I wasn't looking at corsa's so I'm not sure if they were on there as well. Could have been though.

I am a lucky one. I found a used set and have it on the car now. (14118)

I actually found another one too, but I was a little slow on getting it and it sold quickly.

No idea why they are more, but the normal tips are one of the reasons I like the exhaust. I think they are the best looking around.

I would have no interest in rectangular tips (black). I also have a Borla exhaust with their rectangular tips and they are why I don't like that system. The Borla version is a rectangular can over the exhaust tips. To me it looks cheap.

Good luck with your search.

Try Jason at www.vette2vette.com
I have visited his warehouse and he had several aftermarket items on his shelves that he had salvaged from wrecked C4s.
Oh yeah - Elmo says happy holidays from when we used to live in Michigan!
