headlights c4

Rebuilt both headlights new bushing and brass gears if they are closed turn lights on they will pop up turn lights off they will not go back down. My Uncle passed away trying to help My Aunt. 1988 corvette

Not sure on a 88 but mine has a module just on the other side wheel well of the drivers front tire. I would not have used the brass gears.

I will need to check that. I could close them back turning the **** at the end of motor. They would open when I turned the lights on but not close when lights were turned back off.

Make sure they're not rubbing on anything. Mine was rubbing on the coolant recovery tank hose. It would go up but wouldn't go back down. Might have to double check the gears you replaced. May have forgotten something.
