I checked the main side panel fuse when the horns stopped. It was blown, and I replaced it. Just wondering if the switches could possibly be good, and the secondary fuse or relay behind center console is bad, if it is only for the steering wheel horn operation, and not in line with the security system that sounds the horn. I would think these would be in circuit with the security system, and the horn would not sound when locking if these were blown, but just not sure. I don't feel like tearing apart the console just to check that fuse.
Strangeness continues...
Went out to work on car and I hear a low clicking from both sides near headlights. I go in inside car and hear the relay just clicking away in center console. So that answers that question. Battery is low now of course, alarm wouldn't activate. IDKY it started doing this, didn't when I first put horns in, nor the following day. I will order new switches and hope that cures all.
Antfarmer, I don't know what you mean by ground the power in the steering wheel?
And, I have to ask, why the name Antfarmer2? And who was #1? lol

Just bypassing the horn buttons. It was a joke my mom started when I put in my first garden here in Texas the fire ants took it over. So she had a street sign made for me. My first email address choice was taken so I had to settle for #2.
Run a wire from the hot side to the center of the steering wheel to try to get a complete circuit. That's what antfarmer means. You do have power at the wheel, right? 12volts?
