4+3 witing help
its supposed to say wiring help... but i didnt spell check
ive got an 86 manual, l98. So ive got a wire in my engine bay that i dont know where it goes.. i took a look at a guys 86 auto vette and he doesnt have the wire. so im thinking its gotta be trans related.. anyone with a 4+3 know where it goes or have a trans wiring diagram?
Its a single green wire.. that comes out of the harness at the top of the trans/back of engine about 3 inches then a connector, and the other end of the connector its plugged into an all black wire.. the black wire is about 6 inches long and freyed on the end..attached to nothing... im kinda thinking that wire is a ground.. but dont wanna just ground it and fry something.
my OD isnt working and im guess this has something to do with it.

I'm not familiar with the L88/4+3 powertrain but I do know that pictures will certainly help get an answer to your question.

ill try and get a pic up shortly... and my bad its thel98, std 86 engine.. pretty much if your looking down behind the distributor its right there..
