Ferrari C4 Conversion on Ebay
Did anyone see this C4 to Ferrari conversion on ebay?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1989-Ferrari...m=222301896960
But there's no way I would spend $37k on it.
Should have cleaned it up before taking the glamour shots...

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Of the companies that did fiberglass for C4's (C3's and more), I thought this particular company went the furthest. There were complaints about the actual execution of parts (that required moderate rework to "get right") but the designs lent credit to the owner/designer that was killed.
The particular kit being linked on Ebay is aptly named Vetterosa.
I am a particular fan of a hood they used to make -- which I've also seen on eBay from another vendor. The hi-rise was lower than the one I have with a bit of "flair" at the back and vents in the cowl.
Oh yeah....It was called Vanacor's. If you are curious, Google "Vanacors Images". There is a good chunck of pictures of their work/parts. Because of the age of our C4s, it might be time to consider works like this part of the heritage vs something to laugh at....especially when the execution was done well. At least I think the seat covers (obviously custom) were interesting...and had a period flavor to them. If driven down the street, most of us would have a hard time spotting that it was a Corvette.
In the 60's-70's, the VW Beetle chassis served as "the donor" for many/most kit cars. It might be nice is the C4 took it's place for the next generation? (Just throwing that out there after the "Future of the C4?" threads being run in this forum).

Remember "Miami Vice"? well Don Johnson wasn't driving a real Ferrari either.
personally I wouldn't touch that car with a 10 foot clown pole.
