hello all,
thanks in advance for the help and info im sure this great forum and its members will provide.
i just picked up a 93 coupe, anniversary edition with 75k on her.
i have a few basic questions, any suggestions appreciated..
would putting on a cheap pepboys type seat cover diminish wear? the drivers seats take such a beating on these....
also;
the clear roof has a 2" crack in the front center... is this destined to spread and dangerous?
also, the heater is stuck on defrost, is this a common issue?
oh, last thing can i plug my obd2 code reader in? or is 93 obd1?
thanks!
The 93, as is mine, is OBD1. As for the seat covers, I'm looking for a set to protect mine also. Someone else will have to chime in on the cracked top..........Welcome to the Forum...
Welcome to the forum swap the seat cushions for even wear covers can do more damage than good. Ob1 and fill the crack and vinyl wrap the top. What do you have for the heater display?
I don't know how the '93 vacuum canisters are set up, but I had the same problem on my '92 and the entire dash had to come out of the car. It was a major PITA, so I ended up just taking it to the dealer, and it cost me a whopping $800 for them to replace and reassemble everything. But it was the best $800 I ever spent on that car. But apparently they pinched a wire cuz now the fuse for the mirrors and cruise control keeps blowing.
