Hi guys,
'87 C4 - on top of the master cylinder there is a sensor that has been unplugged since I have had the car. The pigtail has melted and warped - plugging it back in won't be possible. What is this sensor? And what does it do?
The ABS has never worked. The ABS light comes on a few seconds after car gets moving. Any relation between the two?
Thanks.
The switch lights up the BRAKE light on the center cluster DIC. It does that if the brake pressure is different between the front and rear brake circuits. If it's not connected it will not do anything.
