Default Pros & cons

Hey guys I have a lead on a 91 corvette with 95k miles at a good price. Was wondering on what I should or should not be concerned about with this year vette. What's the good and the bad with this year. Any help or some info good and bad would be greatly appreciated before I dive headfirst into this purchase. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to the forum Mike.

In my opinion the '91 is a gem. You get the latest styling inside and out, you don't have that nasty looking afterthought roof mounted third brake light, and you get the L98, thus no Optispark.

Down side is a little less power and no passenger airbag. Oh, and R-12 refrigerant I think.

Good luck and bring photos!

The only major concern would be head gaskets. All aluminum head L98s (86.5-91) are susceptible. Check for overheating or a history of overheating. If it is a manual trans, make sure it is in perfect working order.
